In her new book Seasons of Fury, Ali traces the impact of anti-Muslim policies in the US, from the 1967 Israel-Arab war and the ‘war on terror’ to Trump Growing up in the early 2000s in California, surrounded by piles of history books about the Kennedy family and her Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVDs, Rozina Ali’s childhood felt idyllic.
